At New York Public Library, The Queen joined a reception hosted by The Queen’s Reading Room. Her Majesty met representatives from domestic violence charities who make use of the library and read an excerpt from a Winnie the Pooh story to children from a nearby public school.
The King and Queen attended the Greater Together Reception, in partnership with The King’s Trust. Their Majesties met King’s Trust Global Ambassadors and young people from Chicago and New York who have taken part in the Trust’s initiatives.
