An Exhibition on Vico Magistretti between Milan, London
and the Royal College of Art

Discover the enduring connection between Italy and the UK through the work of architect and designer Vico Magistretti.

Drawing on letters, sketches, photographs and archival materials, the exhibition explores Magistretti’s relationship with Britain through projects, collaborations, lectures, awards and his experience as Visiting Professor at the Royal College of Art. From design inspirations and architectural projects to the memories of his former students, the exhibition reveals a rich cultural dialogue spanning decades.

A project developed by ICI London, Fondazione studio museo Vico Magistretti and Royal College of Art.

PREMIO PAGANINI 2026

Following the great success of its London events in 2024 — culminating in the extraordinary concert with the London Symphony Orchestra, Antonio Pappano and King Charles III — the Premio Paganini returns to London with two concerts at the Italian Cultural Institute in London and Pembroke College, Cambridge.

Join us for the launch of the 59th edition of the Prize, featuring Japanese violinist Rino Yoshimoto, second prizewinner of the 58th edition, performing alongside pianist Sergei Redkin.

The programme includes works by Niccolò Paganini, William Walton, Edward Elgar and Fritz Kreisler.

ICI London proudly supports the Classical Archaeology Seminar, a series exploring new research on pre-Roman Italy, from fresh excavations to the cultural exchanges between Greek and local communities.

The final event features a talk by Professor Massimo Osanna (Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali e per il Turismo / Università degli Studi di Napoli “Federico II”) on the origins of Pompeii — its history, culture and enduring fascination.
