Dda Rachid Brakchi, a Great Activist, Has Left Us
It is with immense sadness and deep emotion that we learned of the passing of a great man, RACHID BRAKCHI, an tireless activist for the Kabyle cause and a pillar of the struggle for the self-determination of Kabylia.
Originally from the village of Tawrirt, in the municipality of Tibane, within the confederation of the At Waɣlis, he was a sincere, courageous, and loyal activist. He devoted his life to defending the dignity of his people with conviction, humility, and profound love for Kabylia. A friend of the President of the MAK and former President of the MAK Coordination in the United Kingdom, he leaves behind an exemplary path and an indelible mark on our struggle.
Today, Kabylia loses one of its brave sons, and the movement loses a brother-in-arms. His struggle, his values, and his memory will continue to live on through us.
We extend our sincerest condolences to his family, his loved ones, his fellow activists, and to the entire Kabyle people.
May he rest in peace.
Kabylia will remember her worthy children, for eternity.
To his family, we wish much courage, patience, and strength during this painful ordeal.
