The Girl With No Name – A Paignton Story

Meet Andrea Goodman.

Andrea has lived in Paignton her entire life. She knows its streets, its familiar faces, its summer crowds, its winter seafront and even which gulls are likely to steal your lunch.

Yet somehow, hardly anybody seems to know Andrea.

At work, people have called her Rebecca for so long that eventually she stopped correcting them.

Outside work, Andrea quietly moves through life with her little dog Maisy, her sketchbook, some spectacularly unsuccessful attempts at poetry, and a collection of people and places that mean far more to her than they probably realise.

Then a series of small, unexpected events begins to change Andrea's world.

Set around Paignton, Torbay Road, Leisure 2000, Fairy Cove, Oldway Mansion and the historic Paignton Picture House, The Girl With No Name is a funny, sometimes sad and ultimately uplifting story about grief, loneliness, friendship and belonging.

Most of all, it's about something remarkably simple:
