Near neighbours is delighted to be working with the University of Kent and the Belong Network on a research project to understand how Covid-19 has affected relationships between different people in the UK. We invite you to participate in this survey today by answering an online questionnaire!
The survey will take you no more than 30 minutes. This information will be incredibly useful for us, because it will help shape the direction of our work in your local area, and give us a vital evidence base to support this work in the future.

The University of Kent is giving participants a £5 Amazon gift voucher after completing the survey, and free entry to a prize draw where you could win one of five £100 Amazon gift vouchers.
They’ll also send you an update report on the project in August 2020 and November 2020 if you’re interested.

This is a great story of some work being done by a school in East London! Their community has been renewed!

It was around three years ago that Alison Jones and parents connected to the Marion Richardson School in East London began to think seriously about bringing together their community. Alison, and the school’s community, have come a long way since.

The Near Neighbours app has been officially released!!

Near Neighbours acts to bring together local people in communities that are religiously and ethnically diverse, so that they can get to know each other better, build relationships of trust and collaborate together on initiatives that improve the local community they live in.
