As an organisation serving the grassroots community, we have firmly established ourselves as experts in youth and grassroots community support for young people and their families for thirteen years. As a result of the global pandemic Covid 19 in 2020, focusing on four stands that steer our service delivery: SCHOOLS/FAMILY AND COMMUNITIES/MUSIC SCHOOL/CHANGE-OUR SKILLS AND EMPLOYABILITY PROGRAM.

Every child deserves the chance to discover their potential through music. At Music Relief Foundation, we support young musicians by guiding them through music qualifications — helping them build confidence, discipline, and creative skills that benefit them far beyond the classroom.

Our results so far:
🌟 100% pass rate
🌟 30% merits achieved
🌟 Grades 0–5 supported in a variety of instruments

We are currently seeking SPONSORS to help fund lessons and exam fees for students who wish to continue their musical journey.

🎶You’re Invited to Our Summer Soirée!🎶Join us for a special evening of live music as the talented students of the Music Relief Music School take to the stage for our annual Summer Soirée Open Evening.

From young beginners to adult learners, this event is a celebration of the incredible progress, creativity, and confidence our students have developed throughout the year. Expect an inspiring mix of performances in the beautiful surroundings of St John the Evangelist Church- the perfect setting for a summer evening filled with music and community.

We’re incredibly grateful to be part of the Studios For All Fund- an initiative that aims to provide free studio access to young people under 30 from underrepresented or disadvantaged communities.

Thanks to this amazing partnership between Pirate Studios Small Green Shoots , The National Lottery Community Fund, and Foot Locker footlockeruk, Music Relief Foundation’s Sound Start Programme is now able to offer our students FREE studio time as part of our programme of workshops to help develop their skills in music production, recording, and performance.

Access to professional studio spaces can be life-changing for young people facing barriers or challenging circumstances. This initiative is creating safe, inspiring environments where creativity can thrive, confidence can grow, and new talent can be discovered.

Over the next three years, the Studios For All Fund will provide £180,000 worth of studio time to organisations supporting disadvantaged and marginalised communities across England- unlocking 10,000 free studio hours for aspiring musicians nationwide.

We recently hosted a powerful Drug Awareness Workshop as part of our Amplify Her Voice programme, creating a safe and supportive space for young women to ask questions, challenge myths, and learn about the real effects and risks of drugs and alcohol.

When young people are given information without judgement, they are empowered to make safer decisions, build resilience, and protect their futures.

A huge thank you to Asha Fowells- pharmacist, writer and drug educator- for leading such an insightful, compassionate and engaging session. Your openness, knowledge and ability to connect with the girls made a lasting impact.

We’re also incredibly grateful to the DSM Foundation– The Drug Education Charity for their partnership and vital work supporting young people to make safer, informed choices and reduce harm. Their mission to turn tragedy into education and prevention is truly inspiring.

These conversations matter.

We recently had the pleasure of facilitating a powerful career counselling session as part of our Girls’ Forum programme. Amplify Her Voice is a 10-week in-school interactive program designed to empower girls aged 11–17. The forum provides a safe and supportive space where girls can explore real-life issues, build essential life skills, and prepare for challenges they may face in their journey to womanhood.

A huge thank you to Career Consultant Femi Yusoof (Goldsmiths University) for delivering an engaging and insightful session that truly resonated with our young people. The session created a safe and supportive space for the girls to explore their ambitions, ask questions, and reflect on their future pathways.

From discussing different career options to breaking down real-life journeys, the session helped build confidence and encouraged the girls to think beyond limitations. What stood out most was how interactive and relatable the conversation was, making career planning feel accessible rather than overwhelming.

At Music Relief Foundation, we are committed to not only nurturing creativity through music but also supporting young people in shaping their futures with clarity and confidence. Sessions like these play a crucial role in widening horizons and inspiring the next generation.

Our Digital Music Composition Workshop is designed for young people aged 12–18 who want to explore music production, recording, and film soundtracks.

Over 5 days, participants will:
- Learn professional composition techniques
- Use industry-standard software (Logic Pro)
- Record live instruments
- Create their own music for film
