Commonwealth Secretary-General Shirley Botchwey recently met with young people for an open dialogue on mental health.

The discussion brought together young advocates and practitioners to share their experiences and ideas for reducing stigma and improving access to mental health support for young people.

These conversations will continue at the Commonwealth Youth Forum at in Antigua and Barbuda this November, where young leaders will help shape recommendations for action.

This week Commonwealth Secretary-General Hon Shirley Botchwey will be in Uganda for her first official visit to the country as Secretary-General.

This visit will provide an opportunity for engagement on the Commonwealth Charter's shared values and principles as well as exploring how the Commonwealth can support Uganda's efforts to build resilience and advance sustainable development.
