Westminster asked for the Mayor's environmental impact submission since the start of the month, got refused, and had to get it from central government instead.

Westminster has joined Kensington & Chelsea and Wandsworth in writing directly to Prime Minister Andy Burnham, challenging Labour's £100 million real-terms cut to Westminster's budget, one of the biggest anywhere in the country.

Cllr Paul Swaddle OBE: "We are holding Labour to account at every level, from the £56 million of waste we are still uncovering in Westminster to the £100 million now being slashed from our budget by the Labour government."
