🎓 De Lisle Celebrating GCSE Results 2026

De Lisle College is celebrating a fantastic set of GCSE results, reflecting the hard work, determination and commitment of students and staff over the past two years. 86% of students achieved a grade 9-4 in English and maths and 66% 9-5 in English and maths. Our attainment 8 figure is 5.8.

The results are a testament to the resilience of the Class of 2026 and the dedication of staff who have worked tirelessly to support students in achieving their very best.

Headteacher Chris Maher said:
“We are incredibly proud of our students and the fantastic results they have achieved. These results reflect their hard work and perseverance, alongside the dedication of our staff and the support of our families. At De Lisle, we are rooted and grounded in love, and we are committed to ensuring every young person is known, valued and supported to fulfil their potential. We thank our parents and carers for their continued support and look forward to seeing all that our students go on to achieve.”

The College wishes the Class of 2026 every success as they take their next steps and begin the next chapter of their journey.

We are incredibly proud of our Year 13 students and the achievements they have secured today. Their results reflect the hard work, commitment and resilience they have shown throughout their time at De Lisle.

It is particularly pleasing to see so many students achieving their personal goals and taking their next steps, whether that be university, apprenticeships or employment.

A heartfelt thank you to our students, staff and families for the support and encouragement that have helped them reach this important milestone.

☀️ As the 2025–26 academic year comes to a close...

What a wonderful year it has been. We are incredibly proud of everything our students have achieved, both in and beyond the classroom.

Congratulations to Fisher House, winners of the inaugural House Cup 2025–26! 🏆 Their commitment, teamwork and enthusiasm throughout the year have earned them a well-deserved victory in a closely contested competition.

Thank you to every student, member of staff and family who has contributed to another successful year at De Lisle. Together, you have helped create a school community where everyone can thrive.

🎨 Spirited Arts 2026

Our Year 7 and 8 students have been showcasing their creativity through their entries for the national Spirited Arts competition, creating artwork inspired by a range of religious themes.

On Tuesday, we were delighted to welcome parents into school to view the exhibition. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to share the inspiration behind their work and receive some fantastic feedback.

We wish all of our students the very best of luck when the competition results are announced in October! 👏✨
