🎁 Help bring some Christmas magic to local families! 🎄

The Rushcliffe Toy Appeal Marketplace 2026 is back, helping to provide new toys and gifts to families across the district who may need a little extra support this Christmas. ❤️

As in previous years, East Leake Parish Council office is pleased to act as a local collection point for the appeal.

If you would like to help, you can donate new, unwrapped toys suitable for children and young people and drop them into the Parish Council office during our opening hours.

🎁 What to donate: New, unwrapped toys and gifts
📍 Collection point: East Leake Parish Council Office
📅 Donations welcome: Until mid-November

Every donation, however big or small, can help make Christmas a little brighter for a local child and family. 🎅✨

The donations will be collected by the Rushcliffe Family Hub team during the week commencing 16th November and distributed through the Toy Appeal.

If you would like to find out more about the appeal, nominate a family, or discuss other ways you can help, please contact [email protected]

Thank you, as always, for your incredible generosity and support ❤️🎄

Anti-Social Behaviour – Update following last night’s meeting

Thank you to everyone who attended last night’s meeting to discuss the concerns around anti-social behaviour in East Leake. It was encouraging to see so many residents come along and share their experiences and concerns.

We are now working with our local Police team following the meeting, and they are putting together a report outlining the issues raised and the advice and information discussed.

Once we have received this, we will be putting together a further information campaign for residents, including clear information on how and where to report anti-social behaviour, along with other useful advice and resources.

In the meantime, if you experience anti-social behaviour, please continue to report it to the Police. If a crime is in progress or someone is in immediate danger, always call 999. For non-emergency incidents, please use 101 or report online at https://www.nottinghamshire.police.uk/do-it-online/report-online

We’ll share further information with residents as soon as it is available.

Thank you to everyone who came along and continues to help us tackle these issues within our community.

Report a range of issues and incidents, from road traffic matters to serious crimes, using our simple online tool.
