See Him, Stop Him, Speak to Him

As part of his now extended list of patrol areas, PCSO Jad was in North Somercotes today. You'll no doubt see more of him....
He received a very warm welcome from the doctor’s surgery, residents, and shop keepers.

Evidence based policing has scientifically proved, patrols are necessary to raise police presence and particularly help our younger members of the community, by engaging with them to reduce the temptation to commit antisocial behaviour (ASB).

Together we are better… report suspicious activity or ASB. If police do not know, they cannot help.

We're asking people to get in touch if they have information or security footage that will assist our investigation following disorder in Holton le Clay on Friday evening.

Holton le Clay – assaults, damage and disorder

Police have remained in Holton le Clay following a disturbance overnight. An increased presence will also be seen in the area today.

Officers were called to Holton le Clay just before 10.30pm on Friday evening, 10 April 2026, following several calls reporting assaults, a car that was being driven along Pinfold Gardens had been set upon and general disorder was seen in the surrounding areas.

Officers attended and an investigation is ongoing to identify all of those involved and the circumstances that led to this incident. Three people are currently in hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries.

We ask that speculation around the incident is avoided; this can lead to misleading information circulating and is unhelpful to the investigation and to those involved.

We are appealing for anyone who lives in the areas of Pinfold Lane, Silver Street, Campions Close, Pinfold Gardens to check any security footage that may have captured those involved.

We would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed any of the disorder or has any information that will assist and has not yet spoken to police to get in touch.

There are a number of ways to get in touch:

A man who stabbed another man in an unprovoked attack in Louth has been jailed for four years and eight months.

Christopher Lenden appeared at Lincoln Crown Court on 27 March after pleading guilty to a GBH offence, which took place at an address on Park Avenue last August.

The 25-year-old also admitted to assaulting an emergency worker who had arrived at the scene to help the injured man after the attack.

Lenden grabbed a knife and told his victim he was going to stab him, the court had heard.

He then made a video call to a friend, describing what he had done and showing them the man’s injuries – Lenden’s friend told them to call an ambulance.

Emergency workers arrived at the scene and two police officers were subsequently attacked while taking Lenden into custody.

Lenden was jailed for four years and eight months for GBH with a smaller sentence running concurrently for assaulting an emergency worker.

He was told to pay a victim surcharge of £228.

DC Shahzeb Baig, who investigated the case, said Lenden’s behaviour towards his victims was totally unacceptable.

“This is a very serious offence with a strong result.

“I would like to thank the victim for working with Lincolnshire police as no doubt this was not easy for them due to the trauma from the attack.

“I would also like to thank their family and friends for supporting them through a tragic time.

“This was an unprovoked attack with a weapon by Lenden which shows the level of danger he presented.

“The victim can look towards the future knowing Lenden is serving a custodial sentence.”

APPEAL: Two people have died following Grimblethorpe collision.

We are saddened to report that two people have died following a multi-vehicle collision which happened on a section of the A157 close to Grimblethorpe, Louth on Sunday 15 March.

The collision occurred on a straight section of the A157 just after Gayton le Wold, heading towards Louth.

A 79-year-old woman from Mablethorpe and a four-year-old boy from Birmingham sadly lost their lives following the four-vehicle collision involving a Blue Peugeot 108, a grey MG 1300, a white BMW X3, and a black Volvo XC60 – and a fifth vehicle which also sustained collateral damage.

The woman, who was the driver of the grey MG 1300, was taken to hospital but died in hospital a day later.

The little boy, who was a passenger in the Black Volvo XC60, passed away on Monday 23 March.

Investigators have carried out multiple lines of forensic enquiry, however Lead Investigator, Detective Sergeant Melissa Ablitt, is keen to understand more about the sequence of events that preceded the collision. She would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has CCTV, dash cam or other recorded footage that may have captured either of those vehicles prior to the collision itself.

Anyone with information that could assist the investigation, and who hasn’t already spoken with us, is asked to email [email protected] or call 01522 212316, please refer to ‘Incident 279 of 15 March’ in the subject line.

Alternatively, you can call 101, quoting ‘Incident 279 of 15 March’.
