What did you do yesterday?
This is what we did……
With 3 cadets from 221 Great Yarmouth Air Cadets all 6 of them had the days of their lives gliding at RAF Syerston!
It was a perfect day and all the cadets and staff had the time of their lives
This is no ordinary hobby, this is what we do!

It is with great pleasure and pride to be able to share these fantastic photos from Sgt Bakers recent CIC course at RAF Cranwell.
Her course report was a fantastic read and total credit to the commitment and dedication she demonstrates throughout her RAFC progression.

A DOUBLE POST.
As Officer Commanding of 469 Sqn, I want to express how proud I am of the achievements of Sgt Baker last week on her CIC course.
During what seemed to be the hottest week of the year so far, Sgt Baker and all her course colleagues smashed the week.
As a sqn, we can not wait to be a part of Sgt Baker's onward journey in RAFAC.
Not only are we looking forward to her continued support for the Sqn, but we are also excited to support her.

What a fantastic week SGT Baker has had, She spent the Week undertaking her Combined Initial Course at RAF Cranwell along side Two other members from Norfolk and suffolk wing and graduating with new friends, New Key skills to bring back to the Squadron and Norfolk and suffolk wing, and newer insight after a Q&A session with Commandant Air Cadets

SGT Baker says:
It’s great to be able to see the work we put into the organisation not just as an individual but seeing it on a larger scale and across so many different regions, it really shows that We are here for the same reasons and that’s to create an environment for the cadets to Learn Grow and create the path for their futures, but to also build on our own skills and Abilities and to also Have fun I have taken home from this week, Skills, Memories but also friends, and I would do it again given the opportunity✈️

We’ve been a bit behind so let’s have a catch up!
Sunday 14th June saw a team of 469 Cadets competing in the Wing 6 -a- side football tournament.

Each and every cadet did themselves and the squadron proud competing against other Squadrons from around the Wing. ⚽️
It was a day of great fun and teamwork!
Well done 469

Sports play a big part in the cadet careers allowing them to experience teamwork and meeting new people from all around the county!
