The Bank Holiday fireworks event is here, and we’re pleased to share some great news! 🙌

🌬️ The forecast wind direction for the day is North East, with a moderate breeze of around 15 m/s.

🌊 This is ideal for our display, as the forecast means our firework fallout area will be directed safely out to sea.

We’re looking forward to putting on a spectacular display for you all! 🎇✨

A MASSIVE THANK YOU ❤️

To everyone who has supported The Venue and come through our doors for our first 6 events, we honestly can’t thank you enough! 🙌🔥

These past few events have been a trial period for us, and we’ve loved seeing the place come alive with you all. Unfortunately, despite the amazing support we’ve received, it simply isn’t financially viable for us to keep the doors open.

So, with a heavy heart, The Venue will be closing its doors after the Bank Holiday. 💔

That means our Summer Closing Party really is our FINAL PARTY, so let’s make it one to remember! 🥳🔥

🎆 CLAREMONT PIER FIREWORKS – FRIDAY 28TH AUGUST 🎆

We know some local residents have raised concerns about fire risk due to the current hot and dry weather, so we wanted to reassure everyone that safety is our number one priority.

We have been in direct contact with our professional fireworks company, who have confirmed that the display will be fully risk assessed for the specific site and conditions.

🔥 Additional precautions will be put in place due to the hot and dry weather, with a further risk assessment carried out when the fireworks team arrives on site ahead of the display.

The fireworks company also recently provided displays as part of the UK Firework Championships at Plymouth Pier, which featured six large displays over two nights.

We will continue to work closely with the professional team and follow all appropriate safety measures to ensure everyone can enjoy the evening safely.
