This is a great opportunity for a care worker to join a friendly, domiciliary care agency based in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

This role would suit someone who is totally reliable, has a caring and responsible approach, a flexible attitude and would enjoy working with people with disabilities in their own home. You will need to be compassionate, keen to learn and enjoy working as part of a team. There is also the opportunity to develop your skills through ongoing training and support right from induction through to a Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Essential requirements:
Prepared to work weekday and/or weekend shifts between the hours of 6.30am till 2.30pm and/or 3.30pm to 10.30pm
At least 18 months experience in domiciliary or care home work, full training will be given as a refresher
Must have a Car and Driving license
Must be flexible with excellent communication skills
Kind disposition with a caring nature
Responsibilities and tasks include:
Providing personal care in all areas (training provided where required) e.g. Bathing, toileting, eye drops, administrating medication, helping with dressing/undressing, meal preparation etc.
Providing support to trainee care assistants, giving feedback on their progress
Providing support where an individual is emotionally frail, depressed, bereaved or experiencing behavioural issues.
Taking individuals to appointments, shopping, to visit relatives and any other social outing or activity requested.
Help them maintain their independence, dignity and self esteem
Respect all cultures and beliefs expressed by the individual
Provide a sensitive, professional and flexible service on a one to one basis
Company transportation is provided for all carers.

GenerixCare is a privately owned home care provider, looking for drivers to transport staff to and from various destinations across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

Job Requirements.
The role would require attention to the following:

Transporting care and office staff to domiciliary visits.

Record all essential information in an efficient and effective manner on the patient management system.

Work with and ensure two way communication with the GenerixCare office to ensure efficient operation.

Operate all in car communications and patient management systems equipment.

To support accurate record keeping.

Support the provision of individualised service user care, respecting the individual service user and their environment, maintaining their self esteem and confidentiality at all times.

Ensure correct use of equipment and vehicles at all times.

Person Specifications.

1.Full time, immediate start.
2.Full, Clean UK/EU Driver's Licence required.
3.Has access to own car
