Cybersecurity attacks in schools are continuing to rise, according to the National Crime Agency. The Edtech charity LgfL has recently launched a very useful resource; a free cybersecurity toolkit essential for schools!

This includes, but isn't limited to;

-Cybersecurity Policy Templates to complement existing social media and acceptable use policies,
-Incident Response plan to begin recovery if a ransomware attack or outage occurs,
-An example risk register that can be used to help assess and manage cybersecurity risks!

Google commissioned a Total Economic Impactᵀᴹ study to discover the full cost savings and benefits of Education Plus.

Several amazing benefits were found, particularly that those who used Education Plus were able to;

⚡IMPROVE security and reduce the number of phishing attempts their employees experienced; this saved nearly £65,000 in IT labour costs over a 3-year period.

⚡Tighter security also helped to minimise the number of third-party apps and software these organisations were using, which resulted in £148,386 saved.
