About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to get into an office-based role, with
the perfect opportunity to gain experience as an administrator and progress. The role will
be working in a dedicated administration department to support an extremely busy
team. We are looking for a candidate that has excellent organisation skills, willingness to
learn new tasks and responsibilities. The ability to work on own initiative and maintain
self-control when under pressure whilst supporting the day to day operations of the
company.

Responsibilities
In this role you will help support the service and admin team in delivering a high standard of work to meet the needs of clients and timescales. This can at times be a pressured fast-paced position which requires excellent attention to detail and communication skills to effectively manage your work. Helping with day-day general administrative duties including  Answering phone calls and directing to the appropriate team  Liaise and arrange with customer’s maintenance visits and any urgent call out requests  Responding to emails and enquiries  Manage and arrange the service engineers diary including travel  Completing engineers reports/worksheets daily  Deal with incoming post  Key allocating to engineers monthly for maintenance visits  Raising and issuing maintenance contract proposals

Project Description – Firelec Controls have recently completed the installation of the Biometric Access Control System for the changing rooms at Notts County Football Ground. The system includes fingerprint recognition readers and each player has their finger print saved in the biometric software to allow them access to the changing rooms. The installation was part of a number of improvements being made to the football ground and was recently featured on skysports as part of a behind the scenes tour with Kevin Nolan.

Project Description – Firelec Controls completed the design, supply, install and commissioning of a new fire alarm system at Sutton Coldfield Baptist Church. The system is a fully addressable with beam detectors installed in the main hall. We fitted a ‘beam isolation’ key switch to make it simple for the end user to disable the beam detectors in the main church hall during functions with smoke machines. With aesthetics particularly important in the church the cabling has been concealed carefully and routed so that it goes unoticed.

Project Description – Another project delivered on time... Firelec Controls completed the supply, install and commissioning of a new fire alarm system at Burnham Resource Centre in Slough. The system is fully addressable with a ‘weekly test mode’ keyswitch installed to make weekly testing easier for the end user. The fire alarm is also interfaced with a Scope vibrating pager system to alert the hard of hearing in the event of a fire. Following the success of this project Firelec Controls have been awarded the service contract for the site.
