Luton Community Fire Station

07/07/2026

Happy 70th birthday to Luton Community Fire Station! 🎉

On Saturday, current and former colleagues, families and local dignitaries came together over coffee and cake to mark seven decades of service from the Studley Road station.

The celebration was a chance to share memories, honour the generations of firefighters and staff who have served the town, and look ahead to the future of fire service provision in Luton.

A commemorative plaque was presented by Cllr Jacqui Burnett, Chair of the Fire Authority, to Station Commander Mike King to mark the occasion.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make Luton Community Fire Station such an important part of the local community for the past 70 years. 🚒
