As a Labour council we are committed to providing free and accessible events and activities to our residents. That’s why we’re delighted to announce the return of a free outdoor live music event in Luton on Market Hill, George Street in June, in partnership with Step Forward Luton and The Castle.

‘Market Hill Live’ will feature an amazing line-up packed full of seven local artists plus DJs looking to light up the stage from 2pm to 9.30pm on Saturday 27 June.

This year promises to be bigger and better, with more acts and an extended run time following a successful debut last September, in which hundreds of music lovers enjoyed an evening of live entertainment in the open air.

Councillor Basit Mahmood, Portfolio Holder for Regeneration and Inclusive Growth at Luton Council, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with The Castle again, building on the success of last year, and bringing a great outdoor live music experience back into the town centre. This is part of our ongoing commitment to providing free and accessible events and activities to our residents.”
