A huge thank you to all our wonderful families for their generous donations to our Harvest collection in support of Luton Foodbank! 🥫❤️

🌟 Year 6 Adventures – Day 2!🌟

Another action-packed day for our wonderful Year 6 children! ❤️

🏕️ Norfolk Lakes Residential: The adventures continued with paddleboarding, long boating, rock climbing and plenty of team-building challenges! Our children have been showing fantastic courage, determination and teamwork as they try new experiences and make memories to last a lifetime! 🌊🧗‍♂️

🎬 Year 6 Fun Week: Back in Luton, the fun hasn’t stopped either! Our children enjoyed a special trip into town to visit the cinema, followed by some brilliant team-building games. There were lots of smiles, laughter and opportunities to strengthen friendships! 🍿

Two days down and so many wonderful memories already made! We are incredibly proud of all our Year 6 children and can’t wait to see what adventures come next! ✨

🌟 Year 6 Adventures – Day 1! 🌟

What an exciting start to a very special week for our Year 6 children! ❤️

🏕️ Norfolk Lakes Residential: Our adventurers have had a fantastic first day, stepping outside their comfort zones and taking on exciting challenges, including caving and fencing! There’s already been plenty of laughter, teamwork and unforgettable memories.

🐾 Year 6 Fun Week: Back at home, the adventures have been just as exciting! Our children enjoyed a wonderful trip to the farm, meeting lots of animals and making some lovely memories together.

Two different adventures, one amazing year group! We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week brings! ✨

What an incredible way to begin our Black History Month celebrations! ❤️

Today, children from EYFS all the way through to Year 6 had the opportunity to take part in fantastic African drumming workshops with Mr Hanson. The school was filled with rhythm, energy and lots of smiles as the children explored African music, learnt new rhythms and experienced the joy of drumming together. 🪘✨

A huge thank you to Mr Hanson for sharing his talent, culture and enthusiasm with our whole school community – what a brilliant start to the month! 🙌🏾❤️

Year 3 have been busy putting their maths skills to the test this week! 🔢✨

They’ve been:
⭐ Ordering 3-digit numbers
⭐ Comparing numbers using and =
⭐ Estimating where numbers belong on a number line
⭐ Explaining their mathematical thinking

📖✨ NATIONAL POETRY DAY 2026! ✨📖

Today, poetry filled St Joseph’s as we celebrated National Poetry Day and this year’s theme, ‘I Wonder…’ 💭🌟

From nursery rhymes to nonsense poems, revolting rhymes to poetry recitals, every year group got involved in their own way:
🌈 EYFS explored poetry through some of their favourite nursery rhymes.
🤪 Year 1 got silly and creative, making and performing their very own nonsense poems!
🎤 Year 2 took to the stage to present their poetry in a brilliant poetry recital.
✏️ Year 3 wove little moments of poetry throughout their day.
📚 Year 4 enjoyed listening to the wonderfully wicked Revolting Rhymes by Roald Dahl.
📝 Year 5 were busy becoming poets themselves, writing their own fantastic poems.
❤️ Year 6 finished our celebrations with a very special recipe poem all about our school, make sure you watch until the end to see their performance! 🎥✨

What a wonderful way to celebrate words, imagination and creativity across our school. ❤️

🏃‍♀️⚽ YEAR 1 & 2 MULTI-SPORTS EVENT! 🏀🎾

What a fantastic morning for some of our Year 1 and Year 2 children, who represented St Joseph’s at a brilliant Multi-Sports Event! ❤️

The children had the opportunity to take part in a range of exciting sporting activities, developing their teamwork, coordination and sporting skills while having lots of fun along the way! 🌟

We were incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, determination and fantastic sportsmanship they showed throughout the event. Well done, superstars! 👏⭐
