Feeling the heat this week? As temperatures rise across the UK, the surfaces our children play on matter more than ever.

Independent heat refraction testing found that CocoTurf with a sand infill reached a maximum surface temperature of just 52.4°C, compared to 65.0°C for wetpour rubber playgrounds. That's over 12°C cooler!

By combining natural coconut fibres with sand infill, CocoTurf helps create cooler, more comfortable playground environments during warmer weather.

Because when the sun is shining, children should be focused on playing — not uncomfortable surfaces underfoot.

Over £18.7 million funded. 54 projects delivered. And we're still helping schools bring their sports facility ambitions to life.

Last week, we were proud to support and sponsor the Club of the Year award at the England Hockey Awards.

A huge congratulations to Clitheroe & Blackburn Northern Hockey Club on being named England Hockey Club of the Year 2025 – a fantastic achievement and a testament to the dedication, passion and hard work of everyone involved at the club.

We'd also like to congratulate all of the finalists and winners recognised throughout the evening. The awards showcased the incredible people, clubs, volunteers, coaches and officials who continue to make hockey thrive across the country.

It was an honour to celebrate the outstanding contributions being made throughout the sport and to be part of such a special evening.

Another fantastic cricket facility completed!​

We were proud to deliver this new cricket practice area to Bates Cottages Cricket Club, creating a durable and professional training space.​​

High quality practice facilities are essential for player development, and this new cricket pitch will provide the club with a reliable surface for training sessions throughout the season.​

Our commitment to reforestation continues....

This month, we've:
• Planted 151 trees
• Supported the Plant to Stop Poverty project in Tanzania
• Captured an estimated 15,100kg of CO₂

That brings our total impact to:
• 2,044 trees planted
• 19,200m² restored – equivalent to 28.5 tennis courts!
• 144.14 tonnes of CO₂ absorbed over the trees' lifetime

Every tree helps support biodiversity, restore ecosystems, and combat climate change. We're proud to be making a positive impact and look forward to sharing more updates as our forest grows.

Another successful CocoTurf installation by ChildsPlay GmbH over in Germany!

This outdoor calisthenics area features CocoTurf installed over our ChildsPlay safer surfacing system, combining a natural aesthetic with the safety performance required to achieve the necessary Critical Fall Height protection.

Designed to withstand intensive use while blending seamlessly into its surroundings, the finished surface provides a durable, low-maintenance solution for active outdoor recreation and fitness.

A fantastic project and a great example of how safety, performance and design can work together to create outstanding outdoor spaces.
