🌲🔥 Acorn Forest School Fun! 🔥🌲

Yesterday was the final Forest School session for our Acorn class, and what an exciting one it was! The children learned about fire safety, helped to build a fire, and enjoyed toasting marshmallows together.

The children made us incredibly proud with their respectful behaviour throughout the session – they were brilliant from start to finish! 🌟 What a wonderful way to end our Forest School adventures! 🌿🍂

Ash class have been working so hard and learning so much about the Lake District this half term. The children made the most of the sunshine last week and went outside to draw, sketch, watercolour and pastel the Buttermere Pines.

Woo hoo! 🙌 Thank you to all the pupils for taking part in all the festivals and tournaments this year; and a big thank you to all the families for their support - for being taxis and cheerleaders, coaches and mentors, it means a lot. 👏

This morning, our fantastic Year 6 children were invited to Kilworth Springs Golf Course to spend time learning all about the science and maths behind the sport. They explored key concepts such as grass height, angles and accurate measuring, all while developing their golf skills.🏌🏾

Thank you to everyone at Kilworth Springs Golf Course for welcoming us and giving up your time - the children especially liked testing their skills on the putting green, working out the angles, the force with which to hit the ball and the accuracy needed to get a hole in one!

It was also great to spend the morning with our sister school, South Kilworth and their Year 6 children, as a way of celebrating the end of SATs.🙌

We're hoping to return again very soon, so watch this space....🏌️‍♀️⛳
