Our Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) outlines how we'll help keep Lancashire safer over the next five years.

Following feedback from our communities, partners and employees earlier this year, we've developed our draft plan and are now launching the second phase of our consultation.

We're asking for your views on the community risks we've identified and how we plan to prevent and respond to them.

As Blackpool Team 95 comes to an end, we look back on some of the great times we've had over the last 12 weeks and how everyone has changed. Our Final Presentation is on Thursday and we are now looking to fill Team 96.

Starting Monday 7th September 2026 at Blackpool South Shore fire Station (bus passes will be provided if eligible). No qualifications required – we’ll support you with your math and English skills!

🚫BBQs & open fires are banned on Fylde's beaches and certain open spaces for a reason - a single spark could cause serious harm to people, wildlife and our stunning coastline.

Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs) are in place across Fylde. Fixed Penalty Notices can and will be issued. If you're planning a visit to St Annes, Lytham or anywhere along the coast this week - please enjoy the sunshine safely and responsibly.

Today is expected to be the hottest day of the week across Lancashire, and we’re asking everyone to take extra care.

Disposable BBQs can quickly get out of control in hot, dry conditions and may start grass fires, please avoid using them. If you’re heading out, pack a picnic instead and enjoy the day safely.

Open water may look tempting in this heat, but please don’t enter. Cold water shock can affect anyone, even strong swimmers, and can happen within seconds.

We’re here if you need us, and we want everyone to enjoy the day safely without putting themselves or others at risk.
