One of the questions that came up the other day was ‘can you show the play equipment, the seating areas for parents, the snacks and drinks etc’ so for now, until I can do a video, I have put a load of pictures all in one post for you, I hope it helps! If you haven’t been before it’s nice, trust me 😊
We have two play frames, one specifically for toddlers up to four, and one play frame for all kids up to 12. We also have a large baby and toddler area. We do allow toddlers on the big one, but we appreciate parents to watch their kids in there as, well, it’s big. And yes we allow parents on too (but please don’t barge about like loony tunes!).
We have seating for approximately 80 people and we allow a maximum of 50 kids in for our booked sessions (or if there are no seats left in open sessions). We are very keen that’s it’s not too overcrowded and it’s comfortable for both play and parents!
On the snack bar we have all the usual cans of drink, kids drinks and water. We have a coffee machine that does great coffee and amazing hot chocolate and we have a full range of syrups for your drinks!
We have cakes and treats supplied by local baker, Love Bakes, and we do a cake and drink combo for only a fiver!
We also do a few select hot food items, burgers, hotdogs and a bbq pork rib! We do t do chips but we do do a combo with crisps and a drink! We have sweets and crisps available!
We also have The Shake Shack on site, which serves award winning ice cream (local from
Gainsborough) and Freakshakes (over the top milkshakes) and you can buy from The Shake Shack without being in PlayMablethorpe - there are doors to the outside (why queue for ages for ice cream 😉)!
In the school holidays we host loads of events - this summer we’ve got Kpop, reptiles, parties, music bingo and our Balloon and Bounce sessions! We also hold regular SEN sessions!
We are in the process of adding a retro video game area too - and you don’t even have to be inside to get to that - it’s just inside the doors and you can even order coffee from that side too!
‘We’ are Alan and Lorna, and if we are open you will find one of us here - we are on site owners and managers and always happy to speak to everyone!
We do loyalty cards and always trying to host new events and do special offers!
If you’re around Spanish City and haven’t been in we would love to see you, even if you want to be nosy and have a look! We often get people peeking through the door!
