Open Studios

Macclesfield Culture Collective are creating a weekend dedicated to communicating the vast array of creative practices developing in our town.

The MCC team is focusing on showcasing local artists, to bridge the gap between the creators and the community, hopefully, inspiring aspiring artists and students.

Dates & Times:
FRIDAY 4th September [17:00 - 21:00]

SATURDAY 5TH September [10:00 - 13:00 & 13:00 - 16:00]

SUNDAY 6TH September [11:00 - 14:00]

Locations:
Market Place, Chestergate, Sunderland Street, Waterside, & Sutton Mill.

Street Sports isn't just a summer thing, it runs all year, and with 4 sessions a week in the summer all around Macclesfield, there is plenty of choice for your young people.

Designed to help them stay active and make new friends, the sessions are delivered for us by Macclesfield Community Sports Trust

The Mayor of Macclesfield is holding a fundraising Bingo night on the 4th September in support of his two chosen charities Cardiac Risk in the Young and My CWA - Cheshire Without Abuse.

The event is being held at the Packhorse Bowling & Social Club on the corner of Abbey Road and Westminster Road.

Doors at 6:30pm, eyes down at 7pm.

Not much left of the summer holidays, so if you have enjoyed not having to take the kids to clubs and having some time to yourself to excercise don't forget Park Fit in in South Park tonight, meet for a 6pm start at the Bandstand.

Free to attend, just bring yourself and a drink - no need to book and no need to have been before. Open to all abilities with the option to level up or down.
