As another fantastic school year at Park Lane School comes to an end, we, the FOPLSS team, couldn’t be be more grateful for the incredible support, generosity, donations, and encouragement we’ve received throughout the year.

Because of your amazing support, we’ve been able to make a real difference to the lives of the children at Park Lane School. This year we’ve:
✨ Helped create a brand-new Upper School sensory room (photos coming during the holidays once it’s completed!)
✨ Funded multiple classroom projects
✨ Treated pupils to a trip to the cinema
✨ Purchased new sports equipment
✨ And so much more!

Every raffle ticket bought, every donation made, every event attended, and every word of encouragement has helped us give our children opportunities and experiences they truly deserve. We simply couldn’t do it without you.

We’re already looking ahead to next year with exciting plans, including applying for grants to transform the Upper School playground and raising funds for a much-needed, bigger and better minibus so our amazing children can travel safely, comfortably, and in style.

Before we sign off for the summer, don’t forget our FOPLSS Aurora Ball! ✨💃🕺

Our adults-only fundraising ball is open to everyone, so gather your friends, put on your dancing shoes, and come and join us for a fantastic evening. Show us your best dance moves, boogie the night away, and help us continue raising vital funds for our wonderful school. We’d love to see you there!

🎉 YOU’VE ONLY GONE AND DONE IT AGAIN! 🎉

For the third year in a row, we’ve beaten our Summer Fair fundraising total! 🤩

An incredible £3,057.99 has been raised, and we honestly couldn’t have done it without the amazing support of our wonderful community.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who:
💛 Came along to our Summer Fair
💛 Donated prizes, money, or their time
💛 Volunteered to help before, during, or after the event
💛 Ran stalls, ticketed the tombola, bought raffle tickets, and joined in the fun
💛 Continues to support our amazing pupils every step of the way

Every penny raised will help provide even more opportunities, experiences, and resources for our fantastic pupils, and we’re so grateful for each and every one of you.

💙 WE NEED YOUR HELP 💙

FOPLSS (Friends of Park Lane Special School) is down to a very small team and we urgently need more support.

We help raise funds for equipment, resources and amazing opportunities for the children at Park Lane Special School, as well as organising and running school events throughout the year.

We know life is busy, so we want to reassure everyone that becoming a member costs nothing, and you do not need to commit loads of time.

We only meet occasionally, and any help is hugely appreciated.

Even if you can’t help at events, there are still so many ways you can support us behind the scenes:
⭐ Ticket sales
⭐ Making hampers
⭐ Helping with raffles
⭐ Donations / prizes
⭐ Sharing ideas

Every bit of help makes a huge difference and helps us continue supporting our amazing school.
