Our stand almost blew away in the wind, but we still had a brilliant time hosting Ian Parry today, Labour's first-place candidate in Gwynedd Maldwyn in next year's Senedd elections!

A committed progressive, Ian will stand up for rural Wales and fight for social justice in the Senedd!

The UK Labour government is not delivering the change my constituents voted for last year nor the real overhaul of our economy that I want to see.

There is an opportunity coming up at the end of this month to show people that we are serious about delivering radical change.

I believe that change should include the fair taxation of extreme wealth, millions of new council houses, a properly funded NHS free at the point of use for all, and a decent start in life for children regardless of their background. We deserve an economy where no one has to choose between heating and eating. That is what I stand for.

It was great to be in Welshpool for the hustings on Saturday, showing support for Labour's progressive candidates Kim and Ian.
