📚 Summer Reading Challenge
We’re encouraging all KS3 pupils to take part in the National Read-Aloud Challenge 2026 this summer.
Regular reading helps pupils maintain and develop their literacy skills over the holidays, supporting vocabulary, fluency, comprehension and confidence.
Using the Fonetti platform, pupils can track their reading, earn certificates and contribute to St Pius X College’s progress on the national leaderboard.

WHAT A DAY!

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our SPXROX Fundraiser in support of Kerri Mullan and family. The determination, enthusiasm and community spirit shown throughout the day were truly incredible.

Thank you to all of our participants, spectators, staff, pupils, parents and wider community who helped organise, support and facilitate the event. Your generosity and support helped make the day such a success.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to B&S Tool Equipment/Tool Shed for sponsoring resources in preparation for the event, Karl Diamond of buyticketapp, for setting up and sponsoring the tickets, Conor McGurk for providing the music and to Greenvale Leisure Centre, Holy Trinity College, Newbridge GAC and Aaron Mullan for the loan of equipment which helped make the day possible.

A special thank you to all of our raffle prize sponsors and everyone who purchased tickets and donated to the fundraiser.
