Welcome back to the Shayler family with their funfair on King George V Playing Field! Rides open tomorrow (Thurs) at 6pm. Despite everyone’s bills rising, Mr Shayler has generously kept his prices the same for years (£2 for children’s rides and £3 for the bigger rides). Enjoy some traditional family fun this weekend! And don’t forget the Loose Fete & Dog Show there from 12-4pm on Saturday!

To those who give their time to litter pick, do conservation work, ragstone restoration, pond, path or planter maintenance, organise coffee mornings and community events, and all our parish councillors and volunteers on working groups! You are incredible - thank you!

Our annual ragstone walls safety survey identified some areas requiring a little work. Having struggled to find contractors for the task, LPC is very grateful to Valley Conservation Society for agreeing to survey the issues and then bring a team to do the repairs. Thank you to everyone involved in this important heritage protection! ❤️
