Let’s hear from our volunteers 🙌

From welcoming visitors to bringing the house to life, our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do, and we love hearing just how much they enjoy being part of the Stoneacre community 🪴

Stoneacre simply wouldn’t be the same without them, and we are forever inspired by their enthusiasm and passion.

It’s Volunteers’ Week!

This week, we’re taking the time to celebrate the incredible work our volunteers do at Stoneacre.

Every day, they give their time, care, love and enthusiasm to help make Stoneacre the beautiful place that it is. We simply couldn’t do it without them.

So if you're planning to visit us in June, do make sure to say hi to our volunteers and thank them for helping make every visit so special.

This year, visitors can experience personal touches in the rooms at Stoneacre, which have been set-dressed to resemble a day in the life of Aymer and Lucy Vallance in the 1920s.

Imagine Lucy and Aymer pottering in the garden, catch the scent of drying ink, feel steam unfurling from a teacup, or hear the telephone ringing in the hall.

On your next visit, rediscover Stoneacre not just as a fascinating house, but a charming home.

Our opening days for April are Saturday 25 April and Sunday 26 April.

11am - 4pm, last entry at 3:30pm.
