Want to explore the coast this weekend? This 3.3 mile (5.4 km) linear walk from Littlestone to Dymchurch follows the King Charles III England Coast Path, combining big coastal views with a rich sense of local history.

Starting along Littlestoneโ€™s quiet seafront, the route opens out to wide skies and long stretches of beach, offering a calm and spacious feel that contrasts with busier seaside spots.

As you continue east, the walk takes you through St Maryโ€™s Bay, where sandy shores and traditional seaside touches create a relaxed, nostalgic atmosphere. You may spot the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway running nearby, adding to the character of the route.

History is woven throughout the landscape, from offshore remains linked to the Second World War to Martello Towers near Dymchurch that once played a key role in coastal defence.

The route finishes in Dymchurch, where you can enjoy the beach, explore the village, or simply take a moment to appreciate this stretch of Kentโ€™s coastline.
