National Cadets Week | Celebrating Our Adult Volunteers
Behind every cadet activity, training night, camp, parade and achievement is a team of dedicated Adult Volunteers who give their time, skills and commitment to make it all happen.
From instructors and detachment staff to those working behind the scenes, our volunteers give up evenings, weekends and holidays to provide opportunities, support and guidance to the next generation.
They organise training, plan activities, maintain equipment, complete paperwork, drive vehicles, supervise events and so much more. Often, their biggest reward is simply seeing a cadet grow in confidence, learn new skills and achieve something they never thought possible.
The Army Cadet Force simply couldn’t operate without its volunteers.
So today, during , we want to say one very important thing:

Thank you for everything you do for our cadets.

We’re always looking for people who want to give something back, learn new skills and make a real difference to young people in their local community.
You don’t need to be ex-military, and you don’t need to have all the answers. Whether you have experience in outdoor activities, sport, first aid, leadership, communications, administration or simply a willingness to get involved there could be a place for you in the Army Cadet Force.
