It's hot and while lots of people love long sunny days, heat can pose real risks to your health.

Being sun‑safe does not mean you have to dampen the fun, but dampening your skin with a wet sponge? That can help you cool down.

⚠️ An amber weather warning is in place for extreme heat across parts of central England today.

We're working hard to keep you moving, and most train services are expected to run.

Please check with your train operator before you travel. 📲

👒 Wear a hat and sunglasses.
👕 Cover up with light clothing.
💧 Hydrate with plenty of water.
⏰ Seek shade during peak sun hours (11 am - 3 pm).
