Today is election day. Polling stations are now open across Essex and will close at 22.00pm.

You can check your polling station online if you're unsure where to go by visiting: https://www.essex.gov.uk/about-council/county-council-elections

Some locations have changed this year due to the introduction of new electoral boundaries.

Remember to bring an approved form of photographic ID. If you need any support when you arrive, polling station staff are there to help.

Make your voice heard today and take part in the local and county elections.

⚠️ Change of polling station. ⚠️

Doug Wilkinson, Deputy Returning Officer for Maldon District Council, said, “In light of an ongoing Police investigation, I have made the decision to relocate the Polling Station from The Drewitt-Barlow Stadium to Blackwater Leisure Centre.

“Voters who were due to be voting at the Drewitt-Barlow Stadium, will be re-directed to Blackwater Leisure Centre and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause due to the very late change.”

John Spence stands firms with the No To Hammonds Farm campaign team and is very grateful for all of their efforts. The plans for thousands of houses in Little Baddow and Sandon are of huge concern to local residents.

John Spence is the Conservative candidate for the Danbury and Hanningfields division in the Essex Coun Council elections which are being held on Thursday 7th May.
