A huge congratulations to Ollie Clarke, our highest bidder and winner of the very first slice of this year’s Hog Roast! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

This is a tradition that goes back many years, when Tilston Wakes held its famous Ox Roast and the first slice was always auctioned off to the highest bidder.

When we revived Tilston Wakes a few years ago, our community asked us to bring back this much-loved tradition. So, with a little twist, the Ox became a Hog, but the tradition of bidding for that all-important first slice lives on! 🐷

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who takes part, supports our traditions and helps keep the wonderful community spirit of Tilston Wakes alive 💚❤️🥰
