🌟 Polaris PGCE Trainees Explore Primary Science! 🌟

Our Polaris PGCE trainees spent an inspiring day at STEM in York, taking part in high-quality CPD focused on Primary Science.

From hands-on experiments to creative scientific investigations, the day was packed with opportunities to deepen subject knowledge, build confidence, and gather exciting new ideas for engaging young learners.

The trainees explored practical activities they can bring into the classroom, discussed effective ways to spark curiosity in children, and connected with experts who are passionate about bringing science to life.

A huge thank you to the brilliant team at STEM for hosting such an engaging and enriching day. Your expertise, enthusiasm, and warm welcome made the experience truly valuable for our trainees.

Our current PGCE trainees had a fantastic EYFS hub day in St Mary’s outstanding provision!
They explored key texts and created their own story baskets using resources from the unit. The baskets were left in our nursery classroom and the children absolutely loved them!

Today we celebrated the Class of 2025 at York Minster with York St John University as they officially graduated as Primary Teachers!
