🌲This weekend, the Castle Howard Arboretum turns the spotlight on two of its most fascinating residents: fungi and red squirrels.

🍄 Fungi Fest and the guided Fungi Foray explore the remarkable diversity of fungi found throughout the Arboretum, revealing the hidden networks and seasonal treasures that flourish beneath the woodland canopy.

🐿️ Visitors can also look out for David Attenborough and Cinnamon, the Arboretum's resident red squirrels, and learn more about the conservation of this iconic native species during a special talk on Saturday morning.

Many of our pumpkins and gourds are grown here in the Walled Garden and have travelled by barrow to the courtyard, where they’re now on display — and available to buy.
