So… what actually happens at Baby Social? 🤎

Honestly? The whole idea is that there isn’t a strict timetable to follow!

You arrive, settle in, grab yourself a coffee ☕️ and let your baby explore a carefully prepared space. We’ve been inspired by Montessori and heuristic play principles — with simple, open-ended, sensory and natural materials…perfect for curious little hands to discover.

There’ll be opportunities to chat, meet other parents and enjoy some proper grown-up conversation too… because those early baby days can be wonderful, but they can also feel a little bit lonely 🤎

Baby Social is a chance to get out of the house without needing to rush somewhere, perform, sing, follow instructions or make sure your baby is doing the “right” thing.

Just come as you are.
Bring your baby.
Have a coffee.
Stay for a chat.

And hopefully leave feeling like you’ve had a lovely morning too 🤎

I am SO excited about this idea coming to fruition and will be sharing some behind the scenes details soon…when nap times allow 😆👀✨

Sessions will be available to view on the booking system shortly, so you’ll have plenty of time to look at the dates and choose what works for you before tickets are available.

A little Tiddler Town update 🤍

While I’ve been on maternity leave, I’ve spent lots of time thinking about the future of Tiddler Town and how I want the business to grow alongside my family.

Becoming a mum of two has definitely made me look at things differently, and I’ve been working behind the scenes on a new direction that feels exciting, sustainable and full of possibilities.

Tiddler Town isn’t going anywhere… but it is definitely evolving!

🧸 Baby Social will be taking over our regular Wednesday slot, creating a beautiful new space especially for babies and their grown-ups.

🏡 Tiddler Town role play will be returning this autumn, with a refreshed look and some exciting changes whilst keeping the imaginative play experience that you know and love.

🎃 We’ll also be introducing regular immersive events, starting with a very special Halloween experience 🪄

🎈 Looking ahead to January, I’ll be expanding our party hire options too, including some gorgeous new bundles for little ones and first birthdays.

📚 And not forgetting our brilliant school workshops that have been continuing to run as normal.

There is lots happening behind the scenes and I’m so excited to slowly bring you along for the journey.

I didn’t want to create another baby class. 🤍

I wanted to create somewhere you could simply come and be.

A place where your baby can explore, you can have a coffee, chat, meet someone new — and nobody expects you or your baby to perform.

No sitting still.
No following a lesson.
No pressure to make the morning productive.

Just babies, their grown-ups, and a lovely morning together.

Baby Social by Tiddler Town is coming to Whittington Community Hall on Wednesdays. I’m so excited as I’ve wanted to add a baby group to Tiddler Town for a while. Now Wilf has arrived it feels like the perfect time 🤍

I’ve had a lot of thinking time recently! Every time I thought about what I wanted a baby group to be, I kept coming back to one thing…

I didn’t want to create another baby class where you have to arrive on time, sit in a circle and follow a programme.

I wanted somewhere you could come with your baby, have a coffee, let them explore and actually get to know the people around you.

A little bit of sensory play.
A little bit of calm.
Lots of connection.

Something that felt more like a social morning than a class. 🤍

Did you know that Tiddler Town runs exciting and immersive school workshops?

For the past three years, we’ve been visiting schools and nurseries across Worcestershire, creating memorable learning experiences through imaginative play — and we’ve had lots of lovely feedback from our customers 🫶

Schools can book our Tiddler Town Play session or our fabulous role play workshop, which links beautifully with the topic People Who Help Us.

Our workshops are led by experienced former teachers who are passionate about learning through play and creating engaging experiences for young children.

Perfect for nursery-aged children right through to Year 1, our workshops can be tailored to suit your setting and curriculum.

Hello everyone 👋

I thought I’d post a quick update for those that didn’t catch my stories at the time.
Baby boy arrived last month and I’ve been busy adjusting to life as a solo mum of two.
Wilfred is gorgeous, he’s a chunky little thing! He weighed 9lbs 3oz at birth and has been steadily piling on the pounds ever since! We’re almost 6 weeks in now and he’s wearing the clothes Charlie did at 4 months old 🫣

I’m doing well too. Ridiculously tired of course, although trying to muster the energy for 5 more weeks of school holiday before I can restart some daytime napping 😵‍💫

I’m starting to think about a gradual return to work from September (ish)! I’ve got some new ideas which I’m thinking about and will post updates soon. We wont have a full schedule immediately but we’ve definitely got our Halloween and Christmas events booked, so I’ll share those dates with you on my stories so you can clear your diaries 😆

School workshops are continuing as normal led by Sophie. If you’d like to book Tiddler Town to visit your school or nursery setting do email [email protected] for our up to date availability.

I haven’t booked in any parties for the rest of the year as I can’t commit to weekend work right now. If this changes I will post more information.

Thanks so much for your continued support and for your messages while I’ve been a bit preoccupied 🥰 I’m keen to get back as soon as it makes sense for me.

Appreciation post for another local business! Hereford Air Conditioning If you have been debating air con during this heatwave then I can totally recommend Lee and his team! They installed a unit at my parent’s home just as the last heatwave hit.
Fantastic team based in Hereford but will cover Malvern and Worcester I’m sure 👍
