We had a fabulous morning with Melissa from
She brought a great selection of creatures for the children to meet and learn about. It was lovely seeing their gorgeous little faces and watching them size up some of the more unusual creatures too!

We’d love to have her back later in the year and we had a chat about how we can make that work again and what she might bring next time…perhaps a weekend session 👌

Thank you all for coming to our last day of play (for a bit)! I actually got a bit emotional when I realised some of my regulars will be off to big school soon so I may not see them again 😭 Some of them have been visiting since they were babies!

I appreciate all of your lovely well wishes for the next few months. I’ll update you as soon as he’s arrived!

I’m off to put my swollen feet up after 9 long hours of standing! Back to the hall tomorrow for two last days of parties and I will then be closed for a few months and will post an update to my plans xx

I wanted to give you all an update to our schedule and also thank you all for your continued support during my pregnancy and changes to our play sessions.

I wanted to stay open until 20th May but I feel like the world is telling me to listen to my body and slow it down now 🫣 my injured knee is a bit better but if I’m honest with myself, I don’t think it’s fully going to heal until I completely stop.

Play sessions, even with a reduced schedule, are super hard work physically - it’s not just the session itself, it’s the unloading and reloading of equipment during the week, the prepping of resources, planning of themes, the system admin…I don’t think I can even think about this baby until I stop thinking about work 😂

So with a strong nudge from my midwife I have decided to close our play sessions a couple of weeks early. Please see the below…

Tiddlers & Toddlers (Wednesday @ Whittington)
- 6th May last session

Tiddler Town (Fridays @ L&B)
- 8th May last session (10am sold out, 1pm spaces)

I hope to resume play sessions in September with some new and exciting updates.

School workshops continue as normal led by Sophie. Please email [email protected] for more details!

I’m not taking party bookings for the rest of the year until I have a solid plan to return, but do watch this space and I’ll post with updates as soon as I know how I’ll be managing them!

FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY!

I think that was one of the hardest ever days I’ve worked. Susie off last minute poorly, my busted knee meaning I could barely walk and a wriggling baby making his presence known constantly!
Thank you to Nicki who stepped in at the last minute and turned up to help me unload. We managed set up with a minute to go and without her we would have only had half a town 🫣 Nicki has just started to work for me and it was only her second time setting up…she smashed it! Even with her toddler in tow. Thank you lovely lady 🙏

I only managed two photos from today but of two of my regular visitors who are always happy, smiling and are always engrossed in their play 🫶

Thanks for coming everyone, it was a wonderful day - it’s reminded Lou and I that we need to keep this collab going more often. Hopefully we’ll book one in later in the year once I’m back from mat leave. Remember Lou has various Trainmaster sessions in and around Worcester that you can visit in the mean time.

We only have one more Friday left before I temporarily close. Friday 8th May - 10am session is already sold out but lots of spaces left at 1pm for one last Tiddler Town before the Autumn. Do join me!! I’ll be waddling by then for sure!

Off to rest now as I have FOUR parties this weekend for four lovely little boys. A 3 year old, two 4 year olds and a 5 year old! There’s bound to be a multitude of police chases and I’m also bound to be arrested 🚓 😂

MAY EVENT AT TIDDLER TOWN! TICKETS NOW LIVE!

On Friday 8th May (morning session only) we’ll be joined by the wonderful Melissa at Creature Cuddles
This is our first collaboration involving animals and something I’ve wanted to do for ages! I’m super excited 🤩

Melissa will be joining us for the full 90 minute morning session and will bring a selection of furry and scaly visitors for your little ones to meet and handle. We’ll organise this in small groups to ensure a calm environment so there’s plenty of time to hold the animals, ask questions and take photos of the experience 👌

In addition we will have a themed area all about animals with lots of fun and interactive sensory trays, a bug hunting station and a lovely craft activity where little ones can paint and take home a plaster animal decoration.

Please note this will be my last Friday / last Tiddler Town session where the full town will be accessible before my maternity leave starts! So do come out and play for the last time (for a few months at least!).

Also note Creature Cuddles will only be attending our morning session. Our 1.00pm session will still include the animal themed areas, just not the animal handling.
