Our amazing HAF sessions continue for the next couple of weeks. We have loads of great activities including, pottery painting, creating 3D pictures, acrylic painting and creating your own placard.
What do you need to know?
✨Sessions are free subject to eligibility - check if you are eligible on the MCR Active Website
✨You need to register on MCR Active and then book
✨Sessions are suitable for those age 10 - 16
✨Sessions are from 11:00 - 14:30
✨Libraries taking part will have 2 sessions a week for 4 weeks.


MCRactive Holiday Activity

Our amazing HAF session start next week. We have loads of great activities including; art sessions, circus skills, become a CSI, learn how to act for TV, Lego with Bricklands, Football Museum sessions and loads more. At the Forum Library sessions we are offering Multisport in the morning followed by crafts in the afternoon.

We have a few days to go until we at Manchester Libraries launch the Summer Reading Challenge for 2026!
This years theme is Read to the Beat and we are looking forward to making some noise and having lots of great musical activities and crafts across our libraries this summer.

WHO LOST OUT WHEN WYTHENSHAWE WAS BUILT?
Monday 29th June, 6pm at Wythenshawe Library.
Find out what happened to local communities when farmland became the urban centre now known as Wythenshawe. Told with a special insight into the generational history of one family – the Adsheads and McLeans.
A public talk by members of Wythenshawe History Group
Plus special guest researcher Aidan Jolly
