Manchester Student Homes

Manchester Student Homes A university-run student housing service to source accredited off campus accommodation and support. We are the only University approved housing service.

Manchester Student Homes (MSH) is a department of The University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University. We also work in partnership with institutions in and around Manchester. We accredit landlords and private halls of residence who meet our required standards. We help students find privately rented accommodation, provide housing information, advice and guidance, and raise awareness

of off campus issues. Students can search hundreds of registered properties at www.manchesterstudenthomes.com. All the properties we advertise are accredited have to adhere to the MSH Code of Standards. Please note: This page is designed for students to communicate to one another and MSH - please do not use any bad language or post anything offensive. If you are a landlord please DO NOT advertise your properties on this page, please contact MSH directly. Students, if you have an issue or a complaint regarding a landlord please contact MSH directly via email or telephone so we can deal with your complaint in the correct manner and give you the support and advice you need. Please be aware that properties mentioned on this page may not be registered with MSH or be part of our accreditation scheme. To find properties from accredited landlords which have met our standards, please visit www.manchesterstudenthomes.com

Thank you.

Today we’re proud to celebrate the many ways Manchester Student Homes works alongside our local communities as part . Over the past year, this has included bringing people together through neighbourhood meals, welcoming students to their neighbourhoods through off‑campus welcome events, collaborating with partners on community‑informed research projects, and contributing to Fallowfield District Centre meetings to support a vibrant, shared local place.

These moments reflect the power of partnership and what’s possible when universities, residents, and key stakeholder work together.
