Sight for Life Trust is a charity which has been providing excellent eye care services since its inception in March 2005. The major reasons for increasing eye ailments in a developing country like Pakistan are illiteracy, dust, pollution, deficiency of vitamins in food and primarily inadequate treatment facilities in rural areas for adults and children. In 2002 Jannat Aziz Trust started eye camps
to reduce the augmented blindness in the area due to cataracts. The eye camps ran for two years until the construction of the hospital building and 1883 patients were operated (and IOL implanted) successfully during this time. We opened Jannat Aziz Eye Hospital on March 13th 2005. More than 300,000 patients have been treated in our out-patient department (OPD) and more than 23,000 surgeries have been accomplished since inception of the Hospital. Presently the hospital setup is 60 beds and a further 20 more beds can be accommodated to reach its capacity. Our basic philosophy is to provide quality eye treatment facilities absolutely free to the poor and deserving patients and at reasonable cost to the affording ones. The income generated is re-invested into the treatment of the poor patients. If you or any of your relatives are suffering from eye disease, then come to Jannat Aziz Eye Hospital for excellent eye treatment. We are striving hard to achieve this benchmark that; "no patient come to this hospital will go without treatment because they are unable to afford the treatment cost"
Majority of the patients come to Jannat Aziz from a 50 kilometre radius while we also have patients from far fanged areas like Sargodah, Sheikhupura, Pattuki, Fortabbas, Muzaffar Garh, Dera Ghazi Khan due to our range of quality eye treatment facilities.
