A lot of people don’t seem to understand this…
Every business has to make money. Small businesses, big businesses, local shops, supermarkets — all of them.
When a business buys 100, 500, or 1,000 items at a time, they get them cheaper. That’s called buying in bulk.
If you buy 1 item, you’ll naturally pay more than the business paid for it. That’s not greed, and it’s not a scam…
That’s how business works.
What many people don’t see is that you’re not just paying for the item.
You’re paying for the time spent sourcing it, researching it, collecting it, storing it, advertising it, answering messages, processing payments, dealing with problems, and standing behind the product if something goes wrong.
Then you’ve got fuel, insurance, rent, tools, equipment, wages, taxes, accountancy fees, and all the other costs that come with running a business.
Most business owners are working long hours behind the scenes that nobody ever sees.
You’re not just buying a product — you’re paying for the knowledge, time, effort, experience, and risk that got that product to you.
Nobody expects an employee to work for free, so don’t expect a business to.
Support small businesses. They’re not trying to get rich overnight — they’re trying to survive, grow, and put food on the table like everyone else. 💯👊🏻📈♻️
