Congo Children Trust

Congo Children Trust Congo Children Trust is a charity registered in England and Wales, raising awareness and funds for our partner, Kimbilio.

Kimbilio, is based in Lubumbashi and runs four homes and a day centre for street children in Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo. Kimbilio also runs a primary school and vocational schools for sewing and for hairdressing and nails. Since 2009 Kimbilio has been working directly with children living on the city’s streets, helping them to overcome their personal challenges and begin to build a f

uture with hope. Kimbilio seeks to reunite children with their families wherever possible and appropriate, which is a difficult task in a country as vast as Congo, with poor infrastructure and widespread poverty. Congo Children Trust is run by a small team of volunteers and administered by six trustees and is based at St Margaret's Centre, Brantingham Road, Manchester, M21 0TT
