A huge thank you to Mawadah, Manal and everyone at The Dental Team Manchester for their incredible support of Barnabus.

They kindly offered four people we support free dental treatment, helping them access the oral healthcare they needed, including dentures, crowns and rebuilding damaged teeth. After their treatment plans were completed, they offered to keep our friends on as NHS patients so they can continue with their oral health journeys.

This is just one of the wonderful things they have done to support us. Last year, they also kindly donated dental goodie bags for our Christmas party, filled with useful tips and advice on looking after your teeth.

We’re incredibly grateful for their kindness, care and continued support of the people we work with. 💛

This is great news, it will save lives this winter.

However, a roof over someone's head does not end homelessness. What people need is long term intensive supported accommodation beyond Christmas and beyond winter.

We’ll be there for people long past Christmas and we are delighted to announce this morning that we received a grant from the Ending Homelessness In Communities Fund. We’ll use this grant to provide that long term support to help people stay off the streets and leave rough sleeping. From experience we know that this holistic support is what is needed to help people to make that transformative change and leave homelessness behind.

Andy Burnham Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government

UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham has pledged accommodation for all rough sleepers in England this winter.
