the emphasis is on a relaxed, homely and safe environment where residents are encouraged to enjoy life. Residents are encouraged to participate in activities including painting, dancing and singing, playing games whilst all around the home are sound and sensory items. These include soft fabrics to touch and hold,dolls and soft toys to carry around, musical instruments to play, rummage

boxes, and bags to carry. Mealtimes are as flexible as possible, reflecting the likes and dislikes of individual residents. Meal choices are always available and special requirements are catered for. The accommodation is varied, giving residents a choice of venue to include the main lounge, the small lounge/music room, two dining areas and a conservatory/garden room. We also provide a range of events, some weekly, others monthly or even annually.We have a regular visiting entertainer who plays an electric keyboard and gets everybody singing along to the old favourites, together with picnics in the garden, a Christmas party, an Easter bonnet parade, and a summer garden party.
