Today, Forest Town Guides and are proud to stand alongside 10 million Girl Guides and Girl Scouts worldwide, celebrating friendship, leadership and the power of girls to change the world. 💙

From our weekly meetings in Forest Town to a global movement spanning over 150 countries, we are part of something truly special through the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.

World Thinking Day reminds us that no matter where we live, what language we speak, or what challenges we face — we are connected. 🌎

We are so proud of every single girl who puts on her uniform and chooses courage, kindness and adventure.

Here’s to strong girls, brave voices and a brighter future. 💛

A huge congratulations to the Lionesses on their historic win at UEFA Women's EURO 2025 last night!

Have you seen Girlguidings exciting new Codebreaking interest badge?

We’re proud to have helped develop this new interest badge which is part of the Skills for My Future theme, this badge will challenge Guides to become real-life codebreakers:

- Learn how ciphers and encryptions work
- Make and crack your own codes
- Discover the incredible role women played at places like Bletchley Park during WWII

It’s a brilliant opportunity for girls to get stuck into fun, hands-on STEM activities. We can’t wait to see what they’ll unlock!

Tonight was our end of year celebration at Tag Active . We had exclusive access and thanks to a grant from we were able to fully fund the session for all of our Guides and Rangers

To top the night off, five girls made their promise - congratulations India, Martha, Sophia, Emily and Amelia!

We hope all of our members have an amazing summer and we’ll see you again in September!

It was a tennis themed activity this week with the activity. We even had time for a game of dodgeball - light nights and sunshine; of course you’ll find us outside!

What a weekend! From testing out our new tent, to campfires and s’mores, slip’n’slide to grass sledging, our spring camp is done! Thank you to the leaders for organising it and everyone who attended! I think we all enjoyed a bath and early night when we got home!

Last night we worked on our Influence Stage 5 Skills Builder badge, teaching the Guides how to get to know and build their networks to make the biggest impact when they want to take action and persuade others to follow suit!
