Our August Peak District walk, despite the forecast we managed to stay dry and enjoyed a 3 hour trek across Deep Dale. A great workout across A beautiful landscape!

🥾🌿 *AUGUST PEAK DISTRICT HIKE – DEEP DALE* 🌿🥾

Asalamualaikum everyone!

It’s time for our monthly Peak District hike! 🙌🏼

This month we’re heading to Deep Dale – described as one of the Peak District’s hidden gems, with a beautiful limestone gorge on one side and lovely open views across the countryside. ⛰️🌿

📅 Sunday 30th August
⏰ 10am
🥾 4.8 miles
⏱️ Approx. 3–3.5 hours, including a picnic break

This is a moderate Peak District hike, so expect some uneven terrain and hills. It is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs.

🧺 We’ll stop for a picnic along the way, so pack your lunch, snacks and of course... bring the parathas and chai! 😋☕

🌤️ Weather:
Currently expected to be dry and cloudy, around 17°C.

🚗 Parking:
£4.75 for the whole day.

Always a classic hike around Chatsworth House! We managed to stop and enjoy the gardens and cafes half way through , before climbing up to be rewarded with amazing views over the surrounding hills. See if you can spot a tribute to the film Gladiator 😉

Subhanallah!!! We had an amazing 140 walkers join for a unique walk today, combining nature, brother/sisterhood, blessed wisdom and the sharing of good food. Allahu Akbar! 🤲. Thank you to our wonderful volunteers and our brilliant partners who made this event possible and

Or walking group at the highest point in Nottinghamshire, Silver Hill in Ashfield. Another fantastic new walk, it's a shame we couldn't stay longer!
