A busy couple of weeks before Christmas visiting some more of our towns sporting clubs, here presenting the Man of the Match award to March Town Football Clubs Goalkeeper after an excellent performance in helping secure a 2-0 victory over visiting Hinkley.
Unfortunately I did not bring as much luck to March Mens 1st team the following Saturday when they suffered a rare defeat but made up for it the next Saturday watching March Bears Rugby 1st XV storm to a magnificent 91-0 victory over St Ives 2nds
We have a great range of sporting clubs for all ages in the town thanks to you all out there volunteering you time to help

Wow!! what a fantastic display yesterday by Fenland Farmers. There must have been 100 decorated tractors pass me on their way to City Road car park through a throng of hundreds of excited children.
Well done Fenland Farmers, a credit to the community

What an amazing and proud time laying a wreath on behalf of my home town at the Remembrance Day last Sunday and again at the Armistice Day service on Tuesday.
With the sun shining so many thousands turned out on Sunday at the war memorial in Broad Street to be part of the service to honour our fallen heroes

A visit a week or so ago to South Paws Boxing Club in Acre Road March. Great to meet up with the founder Jimmy and many of the club members young and old to see the set up they have there and hear how some of the young boxers are progressing.
