🛑 SCAM ALERT: FAKE VODAFONE CALLS! 🛑

Scammers are calling, pretending to be from Vodafone. They claim your contract is expiring and pressure you to renew immediately to prevent disconnection. Their goal: steal your money and data.

🚩 RED FLAGS:
- Unexpected calls about your contract.
- Urgent deadlines ("you'll be cut off!").
- Anyone asking for personal or bank details.

STAY SAFE (ABC ADVICE):
- Do not trust unexpected calls—hang up immediately.
- Always Confirm: Call Vodafone back using a trusted, official number, not the number that called you.
- Never give out your bank details over the phone to someone who called you.

If you have been a victim of any type of scam:
- Contact your bank immediately (call 159).
- Report the scam to Report Fraud: Online: https://www.reportfraud.police.uk/reporting-a-fraud/. Phone: 0300 123 2040.

Our tidal cut-off safety hack sheet is designed to help remind or revise coastal visitors. Please share far and wide. If you see or hear an animal or person in difficulty in the water call '999' or '112' straight away and ask for the COASTGUARD every second counts.
