Many enjoy the warmers days but it is important to enjoy safely.

It can takes seconds for someone to drown in as little as 2cm of water.

Keep an eye on those in paddling pools, empty after use and turn upside down 🌞

Before you pull out, overtake, or turn, THINK BIKE. That extra second to look could save a life.

We all have a right to enjoy open public spaces safely.

With the lighter nights now here, please be considerate of others when out and about. Be mindful of your language, dispose of litter properly, and respect the space we share.

Lets keep public areas safe, clean and enjoyable for everyone. Please also be respectful when consuming alcohol in public and remember that illegal substances can make others feel unsafe

Even on the warmest days, our rivers and lakes stay surprisingly cold. That shock can hit your body hard — making it suddenly difficult to swim or even breathe properly.

If you’re getting into the water, don’t jump in. Take it slow, give your body time to adjust, and stay in control.
And if you ever accidentally fall in:
➡️ Fight the urge to panic
➡️ Tilt your head back
➡️ Spread your arms and legs
➡️ Float… breathe… and regain control

Are you thinking of booking a holiday this summer?

More people are now booking holidays online. With this, can come the risk of being scammed out of money by online fraudsters.

This page gives great advice to read:

Holiday fraud is when a criminal impersonates a trusted website or creates fake adverts in the hopes that you’ll book your holiday through them. They’ll most likely advertise offers at lower than usual prices and apply pressure for you to pay quickly before the offer expires.
