Wilton Windmill

Wilton Windmill Set in the North Wessex Downs, 9 miles south east of Marlborough, Wiltshire, Wilton Windmill is the only working windmill in Wessex built in 1821.

For info: http://www.wiltonwindmill.co.uk The site is beautiful and has wonderful views over the downs. We are open from 2pm to 5pm on Sundays & Bank Holidays from Easter to the end of September. Guided tours, refreshments, loos available during opening times.

FAMILY FUN DAY ANNOUNCEMENT!

Come and join us on Sunday 30th August for what promises to be another wonderful day out for all the family!

The windmill will have it's new set of sails installed by then so come and enjoy the mill in all it's glory.

All the profits go towards maintaining this incredible piece of local heritage so your support is greatly appreciated.

A few tickets still available so come on down - you will be royally entertained!

There'll be a cash bar available throughout, and prizes of champagne and chocolates for expert sleuthing and guest contributions. The fancy dress theme is "Memorably Medieval" should you wish to dress up, and King Richard IV looks forward to welcoming you!
